In my 20s I discovered "The Power of Positive Thinking" and its simple, direct, faith-based message changed my life. Now, at age 45, reading this book dragged me out of my middle-aged housewife spiritual/ physical rut. Recommend it to anyone looking to recharge their batteries.
What a wonderful inspiring, motivational, uplifting Christian book. Coach Theo speaks from his heart. In each sentence you can feel his compassion. He speaks of how his life has changed a total 360, how he got where he is today. His words to his son on life's lessons. I TRULY LOVED IT. I will order more for friends and family. It is an absolute game changer.
Great read with great life lessons for everybody....not just for parents. Theo writes as if he is teaching these lessons to his son, but he speaks the truth for all to hear.
One of my favorite books I have ever read. Inspirational and encouraging, just like coach Theo.
You can feel the love that Coach Theo has for God, his wife and his kids! And at the same time, can apply his words to my own life. He makes me want to be a better wife and mom! Can't wait to read it again!
My family trains with Theo many hours a week, and we have been privileged to be a witness to many of the stories and philosophies found in Conversations with Gio. We know the statements within this book are truly how Theo lives out his life. It is not just lip service. What I wasn't expecting after reading it was how the words stayed with me. How I was thinking about the book when my mind was idle. How I wondered what I could do to make some of these changes in my life to better myself, so I could better the world around me. It's one of those books you just have to read for yourself. Because no review or explanation is going to tell you what you need to know about it. We all learn and take something different from this book, but all of us will take something good!
